• Simple installation and configuration – SEPsesam requires little training and administrative overhead.

• Automatic Recognition-SEPsesam recognizes all installed storage devices

• Automatic Identification--Automatically identifies available tape drives, tape libraries and disk drives within you SAN and NAS environments.

• Centralized administration - SEPsesam master GUI (JAVA Interface) makes the complete administration either from a central or a remote location fast and easy.

• Performance – up to 64 output data streams are possible

• Remote function – Allows backup to a client’s attached tape subsystem via remote system manager access.

• SAN – Supports LAN-free Backup in SAN

• SEP Scheduler – Integrated, heterogeneous calendar functionality to control all tasks including backup and restore. Automatic Backup und Recovery tasks can be scheduled and regular basis, hourly or daily. This allows for maximum flexibility and automation of the desired back up routines.

• Bare Metal Restore – With SEPsesam created CD and secured data, the system manager can do a complete restore of Linux systems without reinstalling the Operating System.
