Novell is pleased to announce the availability of a Novell Sentinel Log Manager 500 EPS Instance to all customers worldwide.

The Novell Sentinel Log Manager 500 EPS Instance complements the existing Sentinel Log Manager 2,500 and 7,500 EPS Instance offerings. 500 EPS is an entry-level offering for customers who may not yet have the event volumes or budget to justify a 2,500 EPS Instance. 500 EPS is also well-suited to large customers that need to collect data at many individual locations, e.g., a retail customer collecting events onsite at each of its brick-and-mortar locations.

Novell Sentinel Log Manager 1.0 leverages the robust technology foundation from Novell Sentinel 6.1 to provide a simple, easy to deploy solution for collecting, storing, searching, and reporting on event logs. Key features include:
