Novell is pleased to announce the availability of PlateSpin Migrate 9.0 to all customers worldwide.

Product Information
PlateSpin Migrate from Novell is a powerful migration product that decouples workloads from their underlying server infrastructure, and automatically copies and moves workloads over the network.  Delivering broad support for 32- and 64-bit Windows and Linux operating systems, anywhere-to-anywhere capability allows more than just physical-to-virtual migration support.

PlateSpin Migrate supports migrations to and from physical servers, virtual hosts and image archives. With this support, customers can build an agile data center by continually migrating server workloads to the best-fit physical server or virtual host—across the floor or on the other side of the world.

PlateSpin Migrate 9.0 new features include:

• Support for live migration of Linux workloads (SUSE 10, 11, RHEL 4, 5)
• Support for migration of Windows Clusters
• Enhanced product robustness

Licensing
PlateSpin Migrate 9.0 is licensed per server workload.  "Per Workload" licenses permit unlimited migrations of specified workloads.

Upgrade Details
PlateSpin Migrate 9.0 is a free upgrade for previous customers with, current maintenance, of PlateSpin Migrate 8.x or PowerConvert Standard Edition.
