* Save Money Backing Up Novell OES2 and NetWare Environments with SEP sesam
SEP sesam isn’t just a valuable tool for backing up and restoring Novell server environments – by implementing a SEP sesam backup solution you can save your business $1,000’s because SEP sesam runs natively on the new Novell operating systems. Novell Storage Services (NSS) is fully supported for OES Linux and OES NetWare. Unlike other popular backup solutions including Syncsort, CommVault or Backup Exec, SEP sesam DOES NOT need an extra Windows Server and client licenses saving you money in both buying new hardware and setting it up!

* New Backup Options for MySQL 5
We’ve added new backup options to handle mySQL “Stored Procedures” and defined “Triggers”, Please see the new Wiki entry below where our engineers explain how to save these data sets using the task properties of a backup job. These processes for your mySQL configuration will not be backed up by default.

* SEP extends sales and services into Eastern Europe & Russia
SEP announces the selection of VDEL, the world’s first IT services distribution company, as its master distributor for Eastern Europe, Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). Headquartered in Vienna, Austria, VDEL will provide SEP software and services to Value Added Resellers (VARs) and system integrators throughout Eastern Europe, Russia and CIS.

* SEP Training Class Dates
We would like to extend an invitation to attend our SEP basic training course in December. We will be holding the training sessions in two locations, one in New York City on December 7 – 8, and one in Fremont, California (December 10-11.
