Novell SecureLogin 7.0
Novell is pleased to announce the availability of Novell SecureLogin 7.0 to all customers worldwide.

Product Information
Novell SecureLogin (NSL) protects corporate information and boosts employee productivity by solving the problem of password inflation. It allows users to sign-on to multiple systems with a single user name and password. NSL enforces proof of identity and strict credential management, ensuring that only authorized users can access information. NSL helps customers with password audits, controlling temporal application access, and delegating system-level account access.

With NSL, organizations can improve network security and productivity, reduce administrative costs and support regulatory compliance.

NSL provides complete credential portability and granular application of policies by leveraging a range of directories as the primary data store. These directories include Novell eDirectory, Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Active Directory Application Mode (ADAM), Sun Java Directory Server and OpenLDAP. Key benefits include:

  • Reducing help desk costs up to 40%

  • Enhanced user convenience via simplified login and access to multiple systems

  • Ability to enforce and comply with appropriate password and credential policy

  • Increased productivity

  • Ability to comply with government mandates and regulation around privacy, audit and identity-related policy

  • Allowing pre-provisioning of credentials to users based on roles via integration with Novell Identity Manger

  • Allowing enhanced authentication, access control and audit for legacy applications
