* SEP continues strong growth with partners
Thank you for the support and loyalty in the past 12 months. The past fiscal year, 2009, was an extremely successful one for SEP. We grew our partner base by almost 20% and customer growth exceeded 30%. This year we reached an important milestone by passing the 2,000 mark in user companies. This is an important step for us and we are proud to add so many new firms to our growing family of SEP sesam users.  SEP sesam is now used in 38 countries around the world. We doubled the number of countries where SEP sesam backup and recovery solutions are used the past year – from Argentina to Singapore, from Australia to Greenland (brrr!). Stay tuned while we continue to grow our user base and increase the friends of SEP sesam. The New Year is already off to a great start. We wish you all a happy, healthy and profitable 2010!

The „SEP Tech - First Step“ training module targets new SEP partners’ technical staff and provides basic know-how to safely implement common SEP sesam environments. Understanding the SEP sesam product structure will help you to avoid common start-up mistakes and pave the way for a smooth transition for your customers as they move from older software solutions to SEP sesam. * SEP releases documentation for ”Bare System Recovery for Linux”
SEP was the first and is still one of the very few backup vendors to offer complete Disaster Recovery down to bare metal with the October 2009 release of „SEP sesam Bare System Recovery for Linux“. In so doing, SEP AG has further enhanced its standing as a one-stop shop for all of your backup requirements. The new documentation gives the System Administrator better insight to the implementation and methodology required for high availability solutions. Further enhancements to our backup and recovery software portfolio continue to provide your system administrators with a fast and secure methodology to recover from a major hardware failure – even to the point of installing on new hardware.
